Oatmeal with Apples and Ginger
Ingredients
Gluten Free Oatmeal
2 tbsp ghee
1 apple
1 tsp fresh grated or chopped ginger
1/2 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
tart cherries
pecans
Instructions
Cook oatmeal as directed on packaging
Saute ginger and spices in ghee
Add apples and tart cherries and coat with spices
Add 1/2-1 cup water and cook on low to soften apples until water is almost gone
Add maple syrup and serve over oatmeal
