Spiced Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati rice

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • 1 tsp chopped ginger(optional)

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 1/2 tsp corriander

  • 1/4 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • 2 cups broth

Instructions

  1. Melt ghee in pot

  2. Add spices and saute until you can smell them

  3. Add rice and saute until translucent

  4. Add broth and bring to a boil

  5. Cover and simmer for 30 min

Serve plain or with cilantro on top.
